Hawaii Prince Hotel
Hotel Information: Upon arrival, guests at Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki enter a two-story marble-lined lobby that looks out onto the marina and the ocean, and receive a chilled oshibori (wet hand towel) at check-in. A central lounge area is dotted with business travelers in quiet conversation, and leisure travelers on their way to or from area beaches, malls, and upscale shopping streets.
Insider tip: The 76-acre Ala Moana Beach Park is 1.5 miles from the hotel, and includes a calm-water beach ideal for children. The park contains jogging trails and shaded picnic areas.
All of the 521 air-conditioned rooms at the 33-floor Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki face the ocean, providing harbor and water views from floor-to-ceiling windows. The upper portions of the windows can be opened. Decor is light-colored and island-style.
High-speed Internet access (surcharge) and in-room safes are supplied, along with coffeemakers, and compact refrigerators stocked daily with complimentary bottled water.
Marble bathrooms have lighted makeup/shaving mirrors, separate tubs and shower stalls, and bathrobes and slippers.
Complimentary video cassette players are available upon request.
