Broad steps lead from the lobby down to three linked saltwater ponds bordered by gardens and threaded by walkways.

Insider tip: With the Reef and Ray Adventure program (surcharge), adults and children can feed and interact with the sharks, Hawaiian reef fish, sting rays, and other marine life in the resort's ponds. However, there is no charge to watch the professionals feed the fish each day at 7:30 AM (time subject to change).
The beachfront JW Marriott Ihilani Resort has 387 spacious guestrooms in two wings. Rooms measure 640–680 square feet (including lanais) and have large marble entryways and plantation-style island decor. Lanais feature cushioned teak furniture and ocean, mountain, or garden views.
